At ActiMeat, first of all we know all our suppliers really well. For many years now, we have been working in conjunction with them to select the best cuts of meat – taking into account the race of each animal – in order to formulate products which are highly suited for use in your line of business.
Our preparations – mainly various types of minced beef, but also minced pork, minced lamb, minced chicken and even minced vegetable protein – are inspired by you, and designed for you. They are deep-frozen, ready to use, and are conceived to meet each of your requirements.
Our goal? Once they have left our factory in Manosque in the south-east of France, our meat products enliven your applications and constitute high value-added ingredients.
Minced meat which can withstand industrial processes, at an affordable price – it's so very rare and that's a pity.
We wanted to be a game-changer. We thought about how we could enable you to obtain high-quality minced meats, and still allow you to keep portion costs down.
To achieve this, we organised working groups, we got manufacturers of lasagne products, of pizzas, of cooked sauces, of stuffing products, and so on, involved, and likewise our best employees, and we got them all to carry out research and development work on several products which are specific to each application (or line of business). We worked together on taste, visual aspects, resistance, costs, and on the creation of unique cooking and deep-freezing processes, and, hand in hand, we overcame the challenge.
In your opinion – and also in our view – the ideal meat ingredient must be easy to use and must combine flavour, melt-in-the-mouth texture, and stability when being processed and eaten, while being optimal visually in terms of your finished products.
ActiMeat thus takes great care when manufacturing its minced meats, meatballs and patties, in order that it meet the aforementioned shared criteria as closely as possible, always keeping in mind that it wants to enhance your products.
And as regards food safety, don't worry about a thing. Christine and the women in our Quality Department analyse, measure and test at all stages in our procedures, and we only ship our products to you if everything is completely in order.
We have developed a broad range of deep-frozen meat and vegetarian ingredients which is continuously being brought up to date, so that it remains on-trend and caters to developments in consumers' tastes.
You are also part of creating our range: When a new product is created the first step is sending out a questionnaire to our community. We ask you questions in order to understand what you are looking for and can't find. The idea is that we gather together enough data to resolve genuine issues. And this sharing rationale, this rationale of trust, will underpin the whole of our relationship with you.
